Lindy Hop Workshop Tracks

Hard Knox features Lindy Hop track classes in the mornings followed by Electives in the afternoons on both Saturday and Sunday of the event. All workshops are included in the full pass, and individual classes can only be purchased for afternoon electives or the morning non-audition Lindy Hop track.

Level Auditions
|
Dancers must attend or submit auditions for admittance for every track except A. All attendees must take class as the role you auditioned as, with the exception of the non-audition track (Track A). You are welcome to switch roles for afternoon electives. Video auditions may be submitted until March 21st by emailing contact@hardknoxlindyrox.com, and dancers may appeal video audition decisions during level testing at the event.

Audition videos should show us a good example of your Lindy Hop dancing. Please specify which dancer is you if it is not clear.
Please understand that your level placement is not a judgement on your skill as a dancer, but a relative placement into a class based on who auditions this year at Hard Knox. The level test is simply meant to ensure you are in the right track for the weekend which will maximize your learning experience. If an instructor asks you to change class levels, this is for YOUR benefit, so that you will get the most out of the workshop.

Electives

Included in full passes and available a la carte. We're not just a Lindy Hop event! Afternoon electives will cover a wide range of topics, dance styles, and levels. These classes will feature different instructor partnerships and give our instructors the chance to share a variety of topics they are passionate about. Electives are all level unless otherwise specified. |

You do not need to remain in the same role you auditioned as for electives. These classes may vary between one-off style, progressive blocks, suggested level, etc. Most of these will be all level, while some will have listed pre-requisites. You are welcome to take these elective classes as a different role than you attended you Lindy Hop track lessons.
